Your Profile page will be linked at the bottom of the returned search results and linked under “Members” who share the name you searched on.

Currently your Profile probably shows only your 1970 GUL Yearbook pic, when you were 22 or 23.

Click on the link with your 1970 GUL Picture.

That will take you to your Profile Page.  Screen Shot #2.

Changing Your Profile Picture.  Just above your picture you will see a link that says “Change Your Profile Picture.”  Click on this link, follow the directions, and upload a current photo of you from your computer. You will have “rights” to do this only on your own Profile Page.

Note:  It’s best is you use something like a “selfie,” a “head shot,” i.e., a picture, like your GUL yearbook photo, which just focuses you. It’s better not to crop a picture which shows you with mountains in the background.  Your cropped picture will look “grainy.”  It’s better if all the pixels in the photo are focused directly on your face.

Profile Page = How it looks before you make changes. It just has your 1970 photo from the GUL yearbook.

See my Portrait photo, which I’ve inserted as Screen Shot #3. Note that it has lots of sunshine focused right on my face.  It was taken with a 35 mm SLR (though iPhone close-ups with flash can also be just fine).

Updating Alumni Fund Data or Adding Text

Change or Update Data

Basically, the Class “digitized” the GUL yearbook, and included your email address so Classmates can get in touch with you.  (Remember, this site is restricted to Active Classmates with Williams Alumni Office USERID’s and PASSWORDS.). There’s information from your Freshman Entry to your profession, and room for you to add you current activities.  See Screen Shot #4 below.

Kimball Data – Profile Page

For example, currently the database says my Sports activity was “85,” instead of “Track.”  If you see any errors in the data, please email Bill Wadt at

Adding Current Activities or a Paragraph Description.

You’ll see the Screen Shot #4 above contains a line, “General Information/Hobbies.”  This is an opportunity for you to “go wild,” within reason.  You can add a couple words a line or two, or a full paragraph about yourself.  Yes, we’ve found that, like adding photos, the text box is “almost unlimited.”

So “have at it” and tell us what you’ve been doing for the past 48 years….
