On behalf of the 50th Reunion Planning Committee, I would like to extend a cordial invitation to join us for a spring Mini Reunion in Mystic Seaport May 3-4. This unique event is planned jointly by the great Class of ’70 and the Class of ’69.
The attached flyer provides a detailed schedule of events. Thursday’s highlights include a faculty led walking tour of the seaport, cocktail reception and dinner followed by a faculty lecture.
On Friday, you can explore the Seaport at your leisure and then have a wonderful opportunity to engage over lunch with students enrolled in the Williams-Mystic Program. Established by Professor Benjamin Labaree, the Williams-Mystic Program is now celebrating its 41st year and is the only undergraduate program that offers interdisciplinary semester-long courses in maritime history, literature, policy, and science.
The Mini Reunion at Mystic Seaport promises to be a most interesting, educational and enjoyable two day experience. Since attendance is limited to 50 participants, if you do consider joining us, please register by completing and returning the attached registration form by April 6, 2018, or by calling Darlene Alderman @ 413-597-4284 as soon as possible.
The fee for the two-day program is $125/person which covers the cost of food/drink, museum admission and activities. Registration deadline is April 6, 2018. Blocks of rooms have been reserved at the Hyatt Place and Residence Inn. Contact information is listed on the registration form.
